Hundreds gather at city hall for rally supporting inside workers

A massive rally was held outside of city hall Thursday morning in support of the city's inside workers.

Hundreds of union members are gathering for a solidarity rally as the strike dragged on for a sixth week.

Some of the union’s onsite include the London Professional Firefighters’ Association, OPSEU and UNIFOR.

The city says they reached out to the mediator with clarifications of their most recent proposal put forth and invited the union back to the table, but no new talks are scheduled.

An information session is being held Thursday night at the Western Fair District for the 750 inside workers.
