About 600 people packed St. John the Divine Catholic church for the funeral service Saturday of six-year-old Addison Hall and her newborn sister Rhiannon Bozek.
The girls died in hospital following a crash at Costco in which a car reversed into the front entrance of the store on July 25. Rhiannon had been delivered by emergency C-section after her mother Danah McKinnon-Bozek was also injured.
McKinnon-Bozek was at the funeral in a wheelchair.
The girls' remains were in urns that family members carried.
The church was so full of family, friends and even strangers, who offered their support, that overflow rooms had to be set up.
A motorcycle procession of about 40 bikes followed the funeral.
"All the other motorcycle family around have come out to support us in everything we've done. It's just amazing," says Doug Christian, Addison's grandfather.
He says the service was wonderful. "It was amazing; it was heartfelt and truly appreciated."
