Brant County OPP is currently investigating a fatal single motor vehicle collision on the eastbound Highway 403, just east of Garden Avenue.
Police say at approximately 6:30 a.m. the driver of an eastbound Volkswagen attempted to change lanes and for unknown reasons, lost control and entered the south ditch rolling several times, ejecting the driver.
As a result of the collision the 56-year-old female driver from Oxford County, Ont. sustained fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the attending Coroner.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
Identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
