OPP are investigating after a fatal collision north of Rostock in Perth County.
On Wednesday, shortly before 11 p.m., Perth County OPP were called to a collision on Perth Road 135 north of Line 49.
Police say their investigation revealed that a Volkswagen Beetle travelling northbound on Perth Road 135 when it entered a construction zone and struck a cut-out section of roadway.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, 46-year-old Timothy King of Zorra Township, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Western Region OPP Technical Traffic Investigation Unit attended the scene and is continuing the investigation into the cause of the collision.
Perth Road 135 between Line 46 and Line 49 was re-opened to traffic shortly after 5 a.m.
