Three popular Lake Huron beaches have been posted as unsafe for swimming.
Water samples at Goderich’s Rotary Cove, Port Elgin’s Main Beach and nearby Gobles Grove have E. Coli counts that exceed provincial standards.
This is the second time this month that Goderich’s Rotary Cove has been posted as unsafe for swimming.
There is a chance all three beaches could be open for the weekend.
Test results for Port Elgin’s Main Beach and Gobles Grove are expected by Friday afternoon while results for Goderich’s Rotary Cove are expected Saturday afternoon.
