A charter bus from Columbus, Ohio with children on board crashed Tuesday afternoon in Oxford County, sending one chaperone to hospital and forcing closure of the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near Ayr.
Officials say there were 30 Grade 8 students and three chaperones on the bus. Some had minor injuries, but all were treated and released at the scene.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the highway at Oxford Road 29.
