Middlesex OPP are investigating after three large signs for an area Tim Hortons location were spray painted and then cut down.
Police say two of the damaged signs were on Elginfield Road and Nairn Road in North Middlesex, while a third was in Huron County.
Investigators say suspect(s) spray painted the face of each sign and then cut the structural supports, likely with a chainsaw, causing the signs to fall.
The damage reportedly occurred late last week and was reported to police by the owner of the signs the following day.
The value of the damage is estimated at $21,000.
An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to contact local police or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
