A cyclist was transported to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with an SUV.
Perth County OPP say the collision occurred shortly before 9 a.m. Friday at Line 33 and Perth Road 11, southeast of Stratford.
They say the SUV was eastbound on Line 33, having switched lanes to pass another vehicle, when it collided with the bicycle, which was westbound in the shoulder.
Information on the identity of the cyclist has not been made available.
Police say the intersection is expected to remain closed until approximately 2 p.m. and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
