A 13-year-old girl was seriously hurt Monday morning when the vehicle she was in struck a tree and a hydro pole.
Perth County OPP say the crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. on Perth Road 86 between Road 167 and Road 169, west of Listowel.
The 13-year-old girl was one of two passengers in the vehicle. She was airlifted to a hospital in London for treatment.
The other passenger and the driver were both taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries they suffered in the collision.
As of the noon hour, Line 86 remained closed west of Listowel and Hydro One was reporting that 133 properties in the area had no service.
OPP say five more collisions were reported in Perth County before 8 a.m.
They say drivers should remember to slow down and allow extra time during times of poor weather or road conditions.
