A 27-year-old Sarnia man is facing charges in connection with a crash that resulted in the death of two-year-old Faith Crockford-Vandermeer.
Daniel Crockford, who was driving at the time of the collision, was arrested Thursday and charged with failing to provide the necessaries of life and criminal negligence causing death.
Lambton County OPP say the toddler was ejected from the vehicle when it crashed on the westbound Highway 402 just west of Oil Heritage Rd. around 9 p.m. on Dec. 13, 2014.
There were two other passengers in the vehicle at the time, 27-year-old Leilani Williams was also ejected and suffered non-life-threatening injuries while four-year-old Leona Williams was not hurt.
The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the single-vehicle rollover.
Crockford is scheduled to appear in a Sarnia court on March 9.
