Police in Sarnia have charged a 28-year-old man in connection with the stabbing of a senior.
Officers were called to the 1900 block of London Line just after 4 a.m. on Tuesday for a disturbance.
Police say there was altercation involving a 28-year-old male and a 76-year-old male who were known to each other, and the older man was stabbed.
Both men were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries and later released.
Police say this was an isolated incident.
The younger man has since been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and three counts of breach of probation.
Following a bail hearing on Tuesday, the man is being held in custody pending a court appearance via video on Thursday
