Sacha Long is a veteran journalist with 20 years of experience in the CTV News organization.
She began her career in Windsor where she worked as a reporter, anchor, and producer. From politics to sports, entertainment, crime and human interest, she has covered a wide-range of important local, national and international stories.
Sacha moved to London in 2018, where she served as a reporter and fill-in anchor for the weekend newscasts. In 2019, she was appointed as the weekday 6 and 11 anchor.
She has also been recognized with four RTDNA awards, including an Edward Murrow Award for a story highlighting the poor visibility of a break wall in Lake Erie, which were factors in a boat crash that killed three people. Her story led to Ministry of Transportation improvements on the breakwall, including new lights and radar reflectors. She also won the Adrienne Clarkson Award for Diversity for her coverage of two blind parents who are raising three children.
Sacha is the proud mother of two children. She is most at peace cooking in the kitchen, surrounded by the company of friends and family. She has a strong passion for travel is working through a bucket list of places to explore and photograph.
In her spare time, she loves to snowboard and is an avid runner who has completed multiple marathons.
