A second victim has died from injuries sustained in Dorchester fire

A young woman has died of her injuries sustained in a Dorchester house fire on August 30th.

Middlesex County OPP have identified the victim as 19-year-old Lauren Duesbury of Thames Centre, Ontario. An autopsy has been scheduled.

The fire at 151 Oakwood Drive also took the life of 21-year-old Ryan Parsons of Thames Centre. In addition, a 19-year-old man sustained minor injuries in the blaze. The investigation into the cause is still underway.

Police have asked people to disregard rumours spread on social media that a drug lab was the cause. They say investigators wore protective gear due to toxic fumes from ordinary household items.
