Winter travel advisory issued, snow to hit London at rush hour Friday
A winter weather travel advisory has been issued, affecting London-Middlesex, Grey-Bruce, Huron-Perth, Elgin County, and Lambton County.
According to CTV London weather specialist Reta Ismail, more snow is closing in Friday night, “We're tracking a weather maker that is approaching southwestern Ontario - and with that we'll be dealing with some widespread snowfall as we head into the evening.”
That snow is projected to hit London around 5:00 p.m., moving southward from there.
“We're looking at about five centimeters further to the north throughout Grey-Bruce, Huron-Perth about 10 centimeters possible,” noted Ismail. A few centimetres is projected in London as well.
Behind that system, tumultuous weather is expected to visit once more, “Lake effect flurries some snow squalls possible throughout midwestern Ontario.”
Temperatures are expected to rebound as we head into the weekend.

Saturday: Flurries. High minus 2.
Sunday: Cloudy with 30 per cent chance of flurries. High minus 3.
Monday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of flurries. High minus 2.
Tuesday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries. High minus 6.
Wednesday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of flurries. High minus 6.
