A police helicopter has now joined in the search for a missing boater outside of Owen Sound.
Provincial police say the boater was last seen early Thursday night on the Sauble River near Park Head.
An underwater search-and-rescue team scoured the fast moving and muddy waters earlier.
Members of the boater's family are joining officers in a ground search.
The boater's name is not being released at the request of the family.
