OPP are looking for witnesses after a motorcycle crash that happened just west of Strathroy.

Middlesex County OPP responded to the scene of the crash involving a motorcycle at around 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say a black 2009 Yamaha motorcycle was travelling northbound on Kerwood Road when the lone rider lost control of the motorcycle on the Highway 402 overpass and crashed, coming to rest on the west side of Kerwood Road  north of the 402 off ramp.

OPP say the driver was a 36-year-old male from London and was transported by ambulance to hospital with serious injuries. 

Kerwood Road was closed from Mulilfarry Drive to Egremont Road during the investigation. Highways 402 westbound off and on ramps were also closed. All roads have since re-opened.

Middlesex County OPP would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone who may have seen this motorcycle prior to the collision.
