London police say stolen property and drugs valued at nearly $50,000 have been seized following a search at a property on Valleyview Avenue on Wednesday.

The items found include $6,000 in power-operated landscaping equipment, a Taser, nearly $25,000 in marijuana and over $17,000 worth of opium.

Investigators say the search was executed following a weekend break and enter at the Highland Golf and Country Club, where a number of pieces of landscaping equipment was stolen.

Mohammad Nassiri, 48, and 34-year-old Judith Jones are facing charges including possession of stolen property, possession of a prohibited weapon and two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Nassiri has also been charged with possessing a weapon while prohibited from doing so.
