LONDON, Ont. - Police in London, Ont., say the search continues for a 42-year-old woman reported missing a month ago.
The search for Shelley Joy Desrochers began on Jan. 21, when Desrochers was first reported missing approximately three weeks after she was last seen.
Investigators now say they believe Desrochers was seen again late on the morning of Jan. 5, and they're concerned for her welfare after she failed to access a bank account as anticipated on Jan. 29.
Police say they've devoted in excess of 1,000 hours investigating Desrochers' disappearance and followed up on more than 50 tips.
They say Desrochers is not currently wanted by police, nor is she the subject of any other investigation that might cause her to be wary of making her whereabouts known and are appealing to the public to report any information.
Desrochers is described as white, five-foot-two, 141 pounds, with straight, long brown hair, a tattoo of a rose on her left upper arm and another of a heart on her right upper arm.
