A 40-year-old man is in critical condition after getting pinned underneath a pole in a crash at Oxford and Adelaide.
It took place around 7 a.m. Friday morning.
Police say the man was crossing the street when a vehicle lost control and hit a light standard. Two sport utility vehicles were involved in the collision. The pedestrian was freed by emergency crews and rushed to hospital.
One other pedestrian, also an adult male, and the female driver of one of the involved vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The adult male driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The details surrounding the cause of the collision are still under investigation.
