Elgin County OPP have laid charges after a search of a home on Downie Line in West Elgin on Tuesday uncovered a grow op.
During the search, police seized 174 marijuana plants along with approximately four kilograms of dry marijuana bud and over 13 kilograms of marijuana shake.
Police also seized production equipment from the indoor grow operation.
Van Khai Tang, 49, of London has been arrested and faces charges including:
- production of cannabis marijuana
- possession for the purpose of trafficking
- theft of hydro
He has been released from custody and expected to appear in a St. Thomas court on March 31.
