A 21-year-old woman was seriously hurt when an ATV she was riding crashed early Friday morning.

Bruce Peninsula OPP say the woman was a passenger on the ATV, which was travelling on Lakeshore Boulevard in the Neyaashiinigmiing First Nation, north of Wiarton.

The collision left her with serious injuries, and she was airlifted to a hospital in London. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the ATV, an 18-year-old man, was arrested. After a sobriety test was conducted, the man was issued a three-day suspension of his driver’s licence.

Police continue to investigation the collision.
