A Woodstock man is charged with impaired driving after allegedly running into an OPP cruiser.
Around 11:00 p.m. Friday, police were called to the intersection of Parkinson Road and Mill Street.
Police say a 2010 Ford Taurus was travelling south bound on Mill Street at a high rate of speed when it entered the intersection of Parkinson Road on a red traffic light signal and struck an eastbound cruiser.
The OPP officer was treated for minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Lajos was not hurt.
Jeffery Lajos, 46, of Woodstock is charged with Impaired Driving and Operate a Motor Vehicle Over 80 mgs.
Damage to both vehicles is pegged at $30,000.
Lajos will appear in court September 16th.
