Winter storm warning ended, snow squall warning in effect
Get out those scrapers London, there's a thick layer of ice under that snow on your car this morning.
A snow squall warning has been issued for London-Middlesex following a night of freezing rain and snow throughout the region.
Lake effect snow from Lake Huron will likely effect London-Middlesex, Sarnia-Lambton, Elgin, and parts of Huron-Perth this morning.
Blowing and drifting snow is also likely in several regions reducing visibility while driving.
The statement comes after Environment Canada issued a winter storm warning for London-Middlesex and several other parts of southwestern Ontario for Tuesday night.
Though London didn't quite reach the expected 15-25cm of snow a layer of freezing rain helped to make roads slippery.
