'Chloe was a bright light': Former cheerleading coach remembers victim of fatal south London crash

One person has died and four others were sent to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in south London Wednesday night. She has since ben identified by her former cheerleading coach as 19-year-old Chloe Mackenzie.

Snow squall warning lifted, frigid temperatures to impact London region

Environment Canada has lifted a snow squall warning for the London region Thursday evening, but a cold weather alert from the Middlesex-London Health Unit remains in effect. In addition, Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth remain under snow squall and extreme cold warnings.

City looking to reopen shuttered swimming pool this summer

A year after an aging outdoor pool was closed by city hall, a plan is being formulated to see it reopen. Glen Cairn Pool remained closed last summer because specialized contractors were not available to undertake extensive repairs, however, staff tipped their hand at a council committee meeting on Tuesday that a plan to reopen Glen Cairn Pool is in the works.
