A federal offender who'd been unlawfully at large has been arrested in Toronto.

The OPP's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad issued a public appeal this week for information on the whereabouts of 46-year-old Bruce Latta, who was wanted on a Canada-Wide warrant for breaching his parole.

He had been serving a six-year sentence for robbery at the time and had been at large since last Saturday.

Members of the squad arrested Latta without incident Tuesday, and are thanking the public and media for their assistance in the investigation.
