Emergency crews were called to the scene of a paratransit vehicle fire at Adelaide and Nelson Streets in London on Monday morning.

London police say the driver had just dropped off a passenger when smoke was seen coming from a block heater at the back of the vehicle.

The vehicle then caught fire and local fire crews were called in. There were no passengers on the bus at the time.

The fire occurred around 9:30 a.m.  and by late morning the vehicle was being towed from the scene.

Police say there were no injuries, no damage other than to the vehicle itself and the fire is not considered suspicious.
