It's clearly the definition of a viral video.

As of late Sunday afternoon, a video of a woman accused of stealing flowers from a London grave site had been viewed over 8.3 million times.

The grave is that of Alma Allerston, who passed away on Easter Sunday.

"I'm so hoping that somebody has recognized her and sent the info into Crime Stoppers," says daughter Marg Medeiros.

Officials say the suspect has targeted one grave site at St. Peter's Cemetery, at 806 Victoria St.

Over the past three months, police say the female suspect has stolen flowers and mementoes from the site several times.

Medeiros, says it's hard to understand why this is happening.

"I'm at a loss. I don't know.  She needs to rest, and rest in peace. I have a family that needs to grieve and get through the process, versus this."

London police don't think the acts are random.

"First off, do not repeat this behaviour again. Second thing is, please turn yourself in. We'd like to speak with you," says Cst. Jane Crosby.

The suspect is described as white, 20s, 5'5" tall with a slim build, dyed blonde hair and dark roots.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-661-570 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
