OPP have identified the person who died in a single vehicle collision near Parkhill early Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just before midnight after a van travelling northbound on Kerwood Road struck a hydro pole and caught fire.
A passenger in the van was pronounced dead on scene while the driver of the van was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
He has been identified as Jonathan Hooks, 30, from Warwick Township.
The 60-year-old male driver from Bosanquet Township suffered life threatening injuries.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Kerwood Road between Elm Tree Drive and Bornish Drive reopened Wednesday morning around 6 a.m.
