Damage is estimated to be in the thousands of dollars after vandals destroyed playground equipment at a south London elementary school.
Area residents discovered the torched equipment at a city playground near Arthur Ford Public School on Viscount Rd. early Sunday morning.
Plastic from the slide and other parts have melted into the ground.
At this time, police have not made any arrests in connection to the incident.
