Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the left of copper wire from an Ontario solar farm.

Police say four large rolls of copper wire were stolen from the Samsung Solar Farm in Haldimand County sometime over the weekend. The value of the stolen wire is estimated to be between $50,000 and $80,000.

According police unknown suspects entered a fenced compound where the copper wire rolls are located. The wire is described as Synergy A/C Copper Triplex, coloured blue, black and red.
