Lambton County OPP are asking for public help after some unique items were stolen from a home south of Corunna, Ont.
Police were called to a residence in the St. Clair Parkway and Keww Drive area for a 'substantial' break and enter last week.
Investigators say between Thursday, Jan. 14 and Friday, Jan. 15 a U-Haul truck was parked in the driveway of the home and suspects removed a quantity of property.
Among the more easily identifiable items taken are:
- a Celtic harp made in 1926 that is 5' tall and has hand-crafted wood frame with Celtic designs and two red strings
- a Buscher saxophone made in 1930 that was recently refinished in silver, inside a black hard case lined in purple
- two Odachi samurai swords, 4' and 5' long steel blades with Japanese print, one with an army green sheath the other a wood sheath
- three Marantz stereo amplifier/receivers
- Acoustat Spectra 2200 Mirage “see- through” membrane speakers, 6' tall and three inches wide, framed in bird’s eye maple
