Two women and a man were arrested following two separate domestic incidents over the weekend in St. Thomas.

On Saturday, June 4th, 2016, around 12:19 a.m., police were called to the area of Fifth and Chestnut Streets for a disturbance involving a man and a woman. Police allege the man was in possession of cocaine, broke a window at the home, and assaulted the woman. A 21-year-old man was arrested.

Further investigation revealed that the woman was on non-association conditions with the man for a previous domestic incident. She was then arrested for failing to comply with the conditions of a recognizance.

Several hours later, around 5:00 a.m., police attended another domestic disturbance in which a woman was allegedly pounding on the door of a Churchill Street home. Police say the male resident refused to answer, but that she banged and kicked at the door until it was forced open. Once inside the residence, the couple began arguing. Police say she struck the man with a glass object. He sustained minor injuries.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested for mischief and assault with a weapon.
