Six people are facing charges after a warrant was executed Tuesday on Kettle Point First Nation.

Anishinabek police along with OPP had received numerous complaints about ongoing drug problems in the community. Police undertook a two-week operation.

Police searched two residences and seized marijuana plants, oxycodone, cocaine and weapons. The street value of the drugs is about $33,000.

Charges include possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking and property obtained by crime.
