Two people are dead after car crash in Newbury
Middlesex OPP are on the scene Sunday of an early morning single-vehicle accident in Newbury that left two people dead.
OPP say the adult male and female were not wearing their seatbelts and speed was also a factor in the crash that happened on
Police told CTV the two were in a white Kia sport utility vehicle travelling east when the driver lost control, travelled through a cornfield and hit two trees about 3:30 a.m.
The pair was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A dog in the vehicle also died.
