Two London men have been arrested after a downtown fight that sent three men to hospital.

Officers responded to the area of York Street at Richmond Street around 3:30 a.m. Monday for a disturbance involving five adult males.

Police say a verbal dispute escalated into a physical altercation that resulted in three men being transported to hospital by ambulance with facial injuries. Two have been discharged and one man remains in fair condition.

Two men were arrested at the scene.

Joseph Topor, 28, was charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm and theft.

Derick Austin, 42, was charged with one count of assault.
