Two men arrested after northwest Shoppers Drug Mart robbery

London police arrested two men after a robbery at a London Shoppers Drug Mart.

Police say on Tuesday at 6:43 p.m., a lone male entered the Shoppers Drug Mart at 1225 Wonderland Road North.

The man allegedly handed a note to an employee indicating that he was armed with a weapon, and demanded narcotics. The suspect fled the scene and was observed entering a vehicle nearby.

No weapon was observed.

A vehicle fitting the suspect vehicle described was located by police and two men were arrested.

As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old man are charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
