Woodstock police have charged two London men following an alleged theft from the Walmart in Woodstock.

Officers were called to the store on Norwich Avenue just before 11 p.m. on Friday for a reported theft of computer equipment.

Investigators say a store employee noticed two males in the store, saw equipment in a backpack and told police the two suspects left without paying.

With assistance of the employee the two male suspects were located and both were arrested.

Joseph Nkrumah, 29, was charged with theft, personation with intent, fail to comply with a probation order, possession of break in tools and public mischief. He was held pending a bail hearing.

Joseph Howard, 29, was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and theft under $5,000. He was released on a promise to appear.

Stolen computer equipment valued at $2,100 was recovered.
