London police have charged two people with drug offences and seized more than $50,000 in narcotics and cash following a raid.
A search warrant was executed last Friday on Kipps Lane and police say they found various drugs, including $41,000 worth of cocaine and about $5,000 worth of mushrooms.
Police seized:
- 409.6 grams of cocaine worth $40,960
- 488 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms) worth $4,880
- 26 grams of marijuana worth $260
- Three grams of crystal meth worth $300
- Three 15mg adderall pills worth $45
- Two grams of hash worth $40
- One gram of hash oil $20
The value of the drugs was $46,505 and there was also $6,650 in cash seized.
Police have charged 27-year-old Shayne Leonard of Mossley and 23-year-old Malibu Budd of London:
- Three counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Three counts of possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking
