Two men have been arrested, following an alleged robbery Tuesday afternoon.

According to London police, two males entered the Fairmont Mini Mart located at 1161 Hamilton Road Tuesday around 3:20 p.m. Police allege a firearm was produced and cash was demanded.

Officers say the suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. No injuries were reported.

Police say two males were arrested a short time later. Officers recovered the cash, cigarettes and a replica gun.

Police have charged 23-year-old Jack Nguyen and 21-year-old Jolson Proctor, both of London with armed robbery, using an imitation firearm in the commission of an indictable offence and having face disguised during the commission of an offence.

On November 1, police say a separate robbery took place at the mini mart, where a cash, cigarettes, and lottery tickets were stolen. No one was injured.

Investigators have also charged Nguyen in relation to that robbery. He’s charged with armed robbery, using an imitation firearm in the commission of an indictable offence, having face disguised during the commission of an offence, and failing to comply with recognizance.
