Oxford OPP have laid charges against two men in connection with a home invasion in Ingersoll a week ago.

Police were called for reports of a home invasion and robbery at a Cherry Street residence around 6 a.m. on July 29th.

Investigators say a man and female youth at the home had been awoken by two suspects, and the man sustained minor injuries after a brief struggle with one of the suspects.

Following an investigation, police have charged 27-year-old Justin Sharpe of Norwich and 25-year-old William Turner of London with several counts including:

  • robbery with violence
  • disguise with intent
  • two counts of fail to comply with probation order
  • possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

Both males were being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
