A stabbing in broad daylight has sent one man to hospital with serious injuries.

Police were called to the scene at Dundas Street and Lyle Street just before 4 p.m. on Thursday.

A 32-year-old man was found in the middle of the road suffering from at least one stab wound.

Witnesses say he had just left the TD Canada Trust branch on the corner.

The victim remains in hospital in stable condition, though his injuries are serious.

Police arrested two men shortly afterward and no other assailants are being sought.

It's believed the attack was caught on a camera mounted to a nearby storefront.
