St. Thomas police have laid charges against two men after the pickup they were in - which was found to be stolen - was involved in a crash.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police observed a white pickup that had been stolen from the Arthur, Ont. area in a parking lot in the city.

After leaving the parking lot and heading north on First Avenue, police say the pickup ran a red light at Edward Street and was involved in a collision.

No one was injured in the crash, but police say the two males in the pickup were seen trying to remove two separate drivers from vehicles stopped at the intersection before fleeing on foot.

The males were quickly apprehended by police.
