London police say an anonymous citizen has donated their trike to a Saunders Secondary School student whose own adult trike was stolen on Wednesday.

The student, who lives with a physical disability and uses the trike to get to and from school, was reportedly overjoyed.

A police investigation into the stolen trike continues. It was taken from the bike rack at Saunders Secondary School at 941 Viscount Road sometime between 11:40 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday.

It is described as an adult-sized Schwinn, cherry red in colour and has a black basket on the back.
