On Monday drivers on Highway 23 in Perth County were met with an unusual road block: a trailer house.

Around 4:20 p.m. south of Atwood police say a modular home being towed by a transport was flipped over by a strong gust of wind onto the roadway.

Highway 23 was closed between Line 71 and Line 72 for roughly four hours.

The force of gust flipped the rig’s trailer ripping out the hitch. The truck remained upright and the driver was not injured.

The house trailer sustained extensive damage in the incident.
