Tractor trailer rollover closes Highway 401 west of London

LONDON, ONT. -- Highway 401 was closed at Colonel Talbot Road after a transport truck ended up on its side on Wednesday afternoon.

OPP say there were no injuries after the rollover between Colonel Talbot and Union Road.

The truck was reportedly carrying whisky, which needed to be removed by hand and loaded onto a new truck, before the overturned trailer could be righted.

Traffic was rerouted at Colonel Talbot for several hours.

The highway was reopened around 8 p.m.
