Lots of rain and hail fell across London and southwestern Ontario Sunday evening, but luckily no major damage was reported as tornado warnings were issued for different parts of Ontario Sunday night.

Among the communities affected were London, Strathroy and western Middlesex County.

Many streets in the Forest City were flooded, as debris clogged sewer grates.

In areas such as Dalhousie Drive in the Wonderland Road and Southdale Road area, streets were so flooded, residents used kayaks to navigate through the street.

The tornado warning for London began at 7:30 p.m. Sunday and was eventually downgraded to a watch and ended at 8:52 p.m.

Environment Canada says an unstable air mass stretching from north of Lake Erie to Sudbury was to blame for the wild weather.
