A 52-year-old Tillsonburg woman is charged with making child pornography.
Members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Norfolk OPP charged the woman following a one-week child pornography investigation.
On May 5, Norfolk OPP received a complaint in regards to a female in possession of child pornography on a cellular telephone device.
The child exploitation unit was contacted to assist with the investigation. As a result, police seized two cellular telephones, two laptop computers and one external data storage device.
The devices are pending further forensic analysis.
On May 11, police arrested the 52-year-old woman. She is charged with one count of making child pornography, one count of distributing child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
The accused was released on a recognizance of bail with conditions. She is schedule to appear on May 31, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe, Ont.
The investigation is continuing.
