Emergency crews were called to a three-vehicle crash at Wellington Road and Commissioners Road shortly after 9 a.m. on Monday.
There were no serious injuries reported, but traffic in the area was very slow for several hours.
A second collision at Wharncliffe Road and Commissioners Road around 11 a.m. also caused traffic tie-ups.
There is no word on any injuries in the second collision.
