London police have charged three 18-year-old men after flames engulfed a school bus and a transport truck.

Police were called to a parking lot in the area of Wonderland Road North and Blythwood Road on Monday at 2:23 a.m.

Police say they found both the school bus and transport truck on fire. The damage was estimated at $250,000 to both vehicles.

The police arson unit charged three teens on Thursday related to the incident. The accused allegedly ignited a firework inside the school bus. The bus subsequently caught fire, which spread to the transport truck parked next to it.

Jordan Marotta, 18, of London, was charged with two counts of arson.

Two other 18-year-old males were charged with discharging consumer fireworks in a dangerous manner. One of the males allegedly ignited a firework on the roof of a school bus and the other allegedly lit a firework that was on top of a stack of wood that was located in the same parking lot.
