LONDON, Ont. - Provincial police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed three lives early Friday morning in Oil Springs, Ont.

The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. Friday on Oil Heritage Road just south of Petrolia.

OPP say the car left the pavement at a point where the road curves and rolled a number of times.

Three passengers, all in their early 20s, were killed. The driver was taken to hospital as a precaution but was reportedly not seriously injured.

Police say the three victims are not from the area.

Oil Heritage Road was closed between Aberfeldy Line and Gum Bed Line for about 12 hours as the Traffic Reconstruction Team investigated.
